Flights should be booked into Denver International Airport or Colorado Springs East Airport. Travel time from Denver to Keystone is 2 hours, 3½ from Colorado Springs. Add a minimum of 1 hour if there are any adverse weather conditions. Shuttle Service from Denver International Airport goes directly to Snowdace Manor and can be obtained through Alpine Shuttle at (800) 334-7433. Transportation between ski areas and sites in Summit County is provided by Summit County Shuttle and is free of charge, so you may not even need a rental car. There is a $52 per person charge each way from Denver International Airport to Keystone.

If you do decide to rent a vehicle, it is suggested that something with at least 6-cylinders be obtained so that you can maintain highway speeds coming up the steep mountain roads at high altitude. Four wheel drive is not usually necessary, since the county is very good in keeping the roads clear, but if it provides you with an added level of security, they are available from all the major car rental companies.
