| Keystone
includes three great but distinctly different interconnected mountains
with plenty of terrain for all abilities of skiers and snowboarders.
Keystone Mountain boasts groomed, wide trails that are perfect
for beginners. North Peak features steep, mogul-laden plunges that
are especially attractive to powerful skiers.
The Outback's tree-filled glades protect powder stashes for tree
skiers long after the snow is packed on other runs, plus two immense
bowls for those looking for an off-piste experience.
In all, there's 1,749 acres of terrain served by 22 lifts, including
two high-speed, six-passenger gondolas and three high-speed quad
chairlifts.
Keystone is home to the largest single-mountain night skiing experience
in North America, with 17 trails and a terrain garden featuring
multiple half-pipes. Three lifts serve 288 acres of terrain until
8 p.m. nightly.
Keystone also has the largest snowmaking operation in the United
States, covering 851 acres and assuring the best possible conditions
regardless of time of year.
Discover the thrill of cross-country skiing as you glide across
groomed trails with family or friends. Or get away from it all and
trek across the unique mountain top trail on Keystone Mountain,
experiencing the serenity of the backcountry wilderness in the Arapaho
National Forest.
>From there, you can reserve an afternoon horse-drawn stagecoach
ride
through the Snake River Valley. Or book the whole family on a horse-drawn
sleigh ride to an 1860's homestead cabin, where cowboys cook mouthwatering
dinners over an open fire.
If you prefer, skate all day or all evening on the five-acre frozen
surface that is Keystone Lake, the largest outdoor maintained ice
rink in the country.
Keystone brings the mountains to you with secluded lodging nestled
in the pines of the Rockies. With accommodations to suit every taste
and budget, you're sure to find something that will enhance your
visit and provide a private, peaceful mountain experience.
